I have found a nice walk that takes in a lot of great sights but also features a number of places for breaks, refreshments, and offers a bit of shade. The walk takes us from The Tower of London, along the south bank, finishing at Westminster Abbey and should take about 3 hours. You can find out the route here but we will not be starting or finishing in same places.
http://www.londontourist.org/walk%20one.h
The walk will start at 2:30 from 'The tower'. People should meet either at the pub at 2:00pm OR RIGHT HERE (Outside Tower Hill Tube) at 2:30pm.
The walk will then aim to finish by about 5:30pm at Westminster tube station. It may run fast or it may run slow. But we will try and make sure we don't go to fast for anyone or that we spend to long in one place.
Myself and a load others will then move onto the party in the evening over at Blackfriers. More details on the party can be found here!
There will be a load of fursuit friendly music as well as moving into other genres over the evening. Any ideas or suggestions then let me know here. ^_^

Me and Orona will be and wanted to see if anyone wants to ride share down there. We would of course pay for a large portion of the fuel AND can get us free travel across channel on my dads company (and in fact might be able to bring my dads company fuel card). I would rather give a friend £150 for fuel than pay for a plane. So if your interested then let me know! ^_^
I'm sure we can make it a fun trip down! ;)

What a trip. As always it wasn't long enough but what time I did spend there was awesome. Me and Orona_red decided to take in Atlanta, GA for a few days before going onto Pittsburgh, PA to see some of the awesome furs own there. And let there be no mistake that the Atlanta furs are a absolutely wonderful, they (and the Fayetteville, AR) are the most friendly and open hearted group of furs I know of.

On reflection.....
So after spending time there again I have defiantly come to the conclusion that I will be moving over to the USA next year at some point. There are a number of studios I know people at in a number of cities. Zombie and Bungie near Seattle, Kuju in San Fran, Midway in Chicago, along with a number of others.

Can anybody recommend any good hotels or areas in Atlanta. They need to be near the Marta rail network or be near the airport. We don't have a car whilst over so it does need to be somewhere that offers a free airport > hotel shuttle or have good public transport links. Areas we are concidering so far are...
- Airport (but its very boring in this area)
- Buckhead/Lenox
- Downtown
If anyone knows of any other areas near the MARTA or hotels then please do post it here. We have a budget of up to about $80 a night, so a Red

I found out about this a few days ago but wanted to share it with you all. Its really quite, quite funny ^^
- A ZBrush Masterclass from Philip Unger at Rockstar Leeds.
- A Modo lecture given by James O'Hare from 3rd Dimension Creations
Everyone then went in for the bar for networking. Luckily I managed to get Autodesk to sponsor the event so we had £500 behind the bar! Sweet! ^_^
So I'm really pleased that it went well and hopefully there will be a write up in some of the gaming press later this month. I'm also really proud and chuft that me and Adam managed to pull this off and now looking forward to the next meeting in October.

...London furs community website.
For the last few year I have owned the londonfurs.co.uk (Not the .org.uk domain). Unfortunatly i'm busy at Uni and more recently making hollywood blockbuster games so haven't been able to update it in a LONG while. :'(
My original intention was to develop the site because I was helping organise the meets. Now that i have taken off that 'crown of thorns', i was looking for a new webmaster to develop/run it. After talking to a number of people on the UKfur forums and also in R/L about the site it become apparent that people were getting pissed off for one (and good) reason....
...No one body/person OWNS or RUNS the londonfurs, yet over the last 4/5 years it has kind of turned into a corporate body. Now the reasons may have been justified, and in my eyes they were. BUT I'm not your voice, and neither should I be. So after talking with people and ignoring my own personal preferences this is what others would like to see the Londonfurs.co.uk operated like....
"Someone or a group of furs create/edit/master the site who has no connection with the organisers of the meets/coffee meets/etc."
So for this to happen I need a few good men/lady's to 'take charge' of the site. I will continue to pay for the domain and the server, but that is _ALL_ I will do so that it stays impartial and more of a community site rather than a corporate image site.
Also.. anyone who wants a Pop3/Webmail account like
So.. Who wants to run/make the website?

Time for some amazing RBW news....
As many of you may of noticed RBW has gone out of it's way to improving on last year, but we are also trying to offer a wider selection of events across a spectrum of interests. Along with this aim we are also actively seeking to build strong bonds with the many groups and areas of the furry community.
Well we are one step closer today as we are very proud to announce that RBW have become official members of the ALAA. The ALAA is an international group that is responsible for organizing the Ursa Major Awards. The Ursa Major Awards celebrate anthropomorphism in literature, the arts, films, and entertainment. As part of this celebration they host an annual awards ceremony with many different categories. In the past awards have been given Chris Sanders behind 'Lilo and Stitch', the studio that behind StarFox (Rare), Stan Sakai, and a mired of other top names and studios.
For RBW this means we will be offering a number of panels and events throughout the convention to complement the many areas the awards and organisation cater for. Along with these events, con goers will also have the opportunity to make nominations for the 2008 awards and discover about previous years nominations.
We can only thank the ALAA for choosing RBW for this truly wonderful initiative and to be part of a internationally recognized award. Heres to a bright and wonderful future for the Ursa Major Awards, RBW, and the rest of the anthropomorphic community.
